Vincenzo Mancini's artistic inspiration, a 1958 class artist of Molfetta, draws its origins by chance from a visit by an ancient and noble family that kept antique furniture of great value. Beginning with the small production of objects (such as caskets, pictures, etc.) Mancini's artistic work gets its necessary strength in those years for the realization of "unique works of art”.
Mancini is considered not only as an exemplary expositor, but also as an alert innovator, of that old and very exquisite technique of the wooden inlay, that was particularly appreciated by the Italian cabinet-making during the Renaissance.
The artist, whose creations are today the personal property of important national and foreign collectors, receives various and innumerable appreciations and recognitions by the public.
His paintings clearly indicate the route of his artistic evolution, that goes from the reproduction of famous paintings by De Chirico, Morandi and Dalì to those original works of art, that are obviously influenced by the cubists Boccioni, Morandi and Kandisky, especially in the pictures characterized by a sort of organic abstraction and by an evident biomorphism.
In the Italian artistic panorama, Mancini is considered an important, great talented artist, skilful as well as a noble keeper of that ancient art, that is otherwise destined to disappear.
